ADS training – preparation course for IAAP accessibility certification

ADS, or Accessible Document Specialist, is one of the certifications offered by the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP).

Axess Lab recommends this as a certification for people that has worked with documents for at least a years and have prior knowledge working with accessible documents.

About the course

This course provides a solid foundation for certification or as a supplement to self-study, depending on your previous knowledge. If there are parts of the course that you find particularly difficult, we can offer deeper training sessions too.

You will learn about:

• Things to consider when creating documents.
• Testing accessibility in documents.
• How to fix issues.
• General knowledge about technical guidelines and best practices.

This is included

• Our ADS certified accessibility specialist will mentor you.
• 2 group study sessions of 2 hours each. You decide whether you want to do this remotely or on site.
• 50+ practice questions similar to the exam.
• A resource bank with all study material collected in one place.
• Support in Slack or another chat group until you complete the exam.
• We offer the education in English and Swedish.

In between sessions

• Smaller tasks or assignment to complete with a follow-up on the last session.

After the sessions

• Support in booking a certification date.
• A nice accessibility t-shirt when you have booked certification date.

• 1 attendee: €1300 per person
